Where can I insert Codes on my site?
There are 3 places to insert scripts on your site. For scripts, like overall layouts, that edit the general Look of your site, add them in the header html part of your Look and Feel.
To insert Javascript, copy the code.
Then go to your Xanga Look and Feel page, and paste it into the WEBSITE STATS section:

And to add a Chatterbox, go here:
http://help.xanga.com/chatterbox.htm
Normally, your Chatterbox codes or similar codes will be inserted in the Javascript module of your Look and Feel.
In the event that code is improperly inserted into your site preventing your from editing your site, there are a couple ways you can fix up your site. Because your site's Look and Feel link is gone, you can directly access it by going here:
http://edit.xanga.com/claf.aspx
It is recommended that you remove the code that you're using, or fix the Look and Feel link.
