Why do pulse character limits differ?
Why does everyone seem to have a different character limit for Pulse?
In this thread, Natalia said that the limit is 140 characters:

That makes absolutely no sense. The only thing that makes less sense, is the fact that it's been around this long before you even answered it correctly in your own help section.
Or perhaps the fact that another user answered it hours ago. :-(

Pulses are sent out to mobile phones, which is the reason for the character limit.
