• WHY ARE YOU ALLOWED TO EDIT COMMENTS ON YOUR SITE?

Why does Xanga 2.0 let you edit the comments others make on your site - and not indicate that the comment has been CHANGED from what the original commenter said?

If someone comments: "The sun is yellow!" on my site, I can change it to "The sun is blue!" and there is no evidence that the comment was changed - and it is still publicly attributed to the original commenter!

It seems like if this is allowed, the comment should be marked as EDITED by the posting site.

  • We'll look into this! The short version is that it's a feature built into WordPress. But we will look into a way to address this!!!

  • Ok! If that is the way it stays - that would be a significant difference for xanga users that they should probably all know about!
