  • What websites are compatible with Wordpress?

    I just thought about an old friend that I haven't talked to since I used Xanga regularly. I log in every once in a while. Tonight I logged in and see all the change.

    My Blogs appear to be able to download in Wordpress format.

    If I download them, what will I even be able to view it with?

    I have never used WordPress. I do not want to have to sign up for another service just to see my old Xanga blogs.

    Help please.

  • Once you've downloaded a (free) copy of your blog posts on your own computer, you can do one of two things:

    1. Upload your archives to another site that's compatible with your blog archives.

    WordPress.com is one such free site... that will let you easily view your posts.

    2. Upgrade your account to Xanga 2.0, and stay on Xanga.
