  • Unable to Embed a YouTube Video

    I have tried to put this link into the Text (I presume HTML code) tab of the editor, but the video simply disappears after I hit "Publish."

    <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/UbMwD24flbA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

  • Hi there,

    When you copy in the video code to the text tab of the editor, please also check "video" on the right hand side module "format".

    Your video should show up but please let me know if you're still not seeing it.

  • I have tried to choose "video" and "standard" but neither works. When I click "Publish" or "Update", the <iframe> .... </iframe> line simply disappears and the whole post becomes blank.

  • Hi there,

    You should be able to copy and paste in the link to the youtube video directly into your post now. No need to use the embed code but rather try posting just a YouTube link into your post and see if that works.

  • Well, I have tried it and it works. However, it is not really acceptable to me.

    I do want to use the embed code. With the workaround now in place, I can't center the video so it has limitation.

  • Hi Routergenie! Have you tried to center the text of the video link? I was able to center the video on a post that way.

    I experienced the same problem, every time I tried to put the embed code, after I click update the whole line was gone.

  • There are many unresolved issues with the editor and this is just one of those.
