    Rich Text Editor (default?)

I've taken note of this issue as well - the fact that although in the settings, I've checked off Rich Text for my editor... It's not there.

I use Safari most of the time - I've never gotten Rich Text on Safari - so I'm not annoyed that I can't use the editor.

However, the issue arises when people use things like Internet Explorer and Firefox. And the Rich Text editor doesn't show up.

Since it affects so many people, I have to say that it is a problem with Xanga -- so, how does the Xanga Team plan on fixing this? o.O"

Is this issue currently happening to you with Firefox or Internet Explorer? If so, could you please post which *versions* of Firefox or Internet Explorer are giving you the problem?

    Thanks!

I'm using Chrome 3.0.195.27 and having the same issue. Rich text was working up until about a month or so ago.

Hi Pat - does it happen only in your Internet Explorer? What version of Internet Explorer are you using (when you open up your Internet Explorer, go to Help >> About Internet Explorer... it should give you a version number)?

Same here. I've been a paying premium Xanga customer for years, but the editor is on perma-crash, and has been for a long time. I've tried IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome, but can't change my fonts anymore or the size of an image. Both my PC and my Mac. Shucks, I can't even include a hot-link anymore! I've written for help, but no answer. Xanga is xanga.
    Wish I had better news!

I've got same problem with Chrome 3 on Windows XP. Even though I have Rich Text - Default editor in settings, it's giving me an editor that I cannot change fonts, size, bold, etc.

In Firefox 2, it works perfectly fine. The URL I get in Firefox is:
    http://www.xanga.com/private/editorx.aspx

When I try to paste that URL into Chrome, it actually converts it to:
    http://www.xanga.com/private/editorplain.aspx
