Renew Subscription / Move Blog
My premium membership expired. I have been using Xanga to blog for over 6 years now and have been disappointed and heartbroken to find that, recently, nothing works, archives are gone or totally messed up. I logged in today to see if I could download everything and move them somewhere else, but now my subscription has expired. First of all, there is not button or link to pay to renew anywhere! And I don't know if I want to pay $48 for a blog that doesn't work!! And there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Can I just export my blog to wordpress and get xanga out of my life forever?

We've extended your Xanga 2.0 subscription but you'll want to renew or download your archives by June 30, 2014. We're working on adding subscription renewal to the Xanga 2.0 dashboard but for now you can use PayPal (can also pay via credit card through this page) to purchase a one-year membership for Xanga 2.0: http://bit.ly/1dcERuj
If you could forward your Paypal confirmation email along with your username to help@xanga.net, we will extend your subscription another 12 months.

Woah - that was fast. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I take everything back I said about customer service. The only thing is there is no "Click here to download them!" button on the dashboard. As I am reading other posts, that is a problem a lot of other people are having too. You actually need to go to "Tools" then "Export" to download your blog into an .xml file.
5 minutes and I am all transferred to a brand new wordpress blog with all of my old archives. SOooooOO relieved!!!
