  • Hello! I just checked out your site, and noticed that your blog didn't meet the criteria we had for generating a blog archive:
    http://con-noodle.xanga.com/

That said, we still have the original hard drives with old blogs on them and are looking into plugging them in and generating new archives for older blogs like yours.

Let us know if you're interested!

  • I really want my old writings back from my old posts on my Xanga. I am very upset thay I can not access them ! Help!

  • I am also interested in this...I know my blog did not meet the criteria but would love to be able to download the archived files if at all possible. Do I need to take any further action?

  • I also would be interested in getting my archived posts if possible.

  • I am very interested as well. I can't see a single thing that I posted except for my photos. I am planning on getting back into blogging again as well and would like to be able to see what I have posted before.

  • @Killerschick08 -thanks for your patience! We're looking into migrating more archives over to the Xanga 2.0 platform.

  • Is there a way I an access my old xanga content as well? xx

Your blog posts have been archived... they are saved and available for a free download!
    http://lillypado.xanga.com/

You can download them by signing in here:
    http://xanga.com/wp-login.php

When you have a copy of your blog posts on your own computer, you can do one of two things:

    1. Upload your archives to another site that's compatible with your blog archives.

WordPress.com is one such free site... more information on how to import your archives into WP here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/

    2. Upgrade your account to Xanga 2.0, and stay on Xanga.
You can use PayPal (can also pay via credit card through this page) to purchase a one-year membership for Xanga 2.0: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=WSTANQDA9BAC2

If you choose this option please forward your Paypal confirmation email along with your username to help@xanga.net, we will get your site upgraded ASAP.

    Thanks,

No need to do anything. Thanks for your patience as we work on migrating over more archives!

Also, in the meantime one of my programmers said that you might want to see if http://archive.org captured your site. All you have to do is type in the blog address in the Wayback Machine portion.
