More information
hey
Someone on your team needs to fully communicate the new terms, current status of what exactly is going on. Frequent updates would also be appreciated. I have been a member for years. Before "Xanga 2.0" launched I had been a frequent user that had paid for a premium membership monthly and am still trying to figure out what exactly happened and its getting a little annoying.
All of your help posts are asking you questions on almost the same topic and its not because no one is reading your updates......it's just that you don't have any.
I have been pretty loyal to you guys and am still not going to pay 50 dollars of my money to a company that promises a better blogging service- but doesn't blog about their progress for months after raising their goal to launch a newer platform. What you are asking of me and the other extremely confused members of your site to invest in your company. We can blog anywhere we want- but since you're xanga, you have the luxury of brand loyal customers that at this point look like customers you're taking advantage of.
In one of your posts you stated that memberships will always be free but blogging will cost Money
Uhh- you are not providing anyone free memberships at all. You've completely cut off and stopped updating your main website. So now, no one knows how to be a paid member even if they wanted to be.
What exactly is you future goal here, and why aren't you telling any of your members?
You stress the importance of a community. Communities are teams which are impossible to form without communication , which is severely lacking in all aspects at this point.
So- i m sure I'm not the only one who feels this way
But until I see constant updates, and more pros than cons here; Im not investing anymore money or time into trying to be apart of your "community".
In my honest opinion this was the worst mistake a company like yours could have ever made.

You are not alone. It has been months and Xanga is still struggling with archives and migration issues. I just wonder what is going on. Several issues that I am concerned with aren't addressed.
