• lifetime subscription

I believe I paid for a lifetime subscription about two years ago. I haven't been able to be on the site over the past year, so imagine my surprise when I went to go on tonight and couldn't find my blog anywhere!!! I'm able to sign in but absolutely nothing that I used to have is still there. How do I fix this? Also, can you please verify my subscription?

  • Hi Michelle,

I'm not seeing that your account was a lifetime account, but I do see you were a premium customer so your archives were migrated to Xanga 2.0. Could you please email me at help@xanga.net with your receipt of your lifetime premium payment and I'll correct this.

Good news is though that your blog posts for http://mlee197231.xanga.com/ are saved and available for a free download!

You can download them by signing in here: http://xanga.com/wp-login.php

When you have a copy of your blog posts on your own computer, you can do one of two things:

    1. Upload your archives to another site that's compatible with your blog archives.

WordPress.com is one such free site... more information on how to import your archives into WP here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/

    2. Upgrade your account to Xanga 2.0, and continue blogging on Xanga.
You can use PayPal (can also pay via credit card through this page) to purchase a one-year membership for Xanga 2.0: http://bit.ly/1dcERuj

If you choose this option please forward your Paypal confirmation email along with your username to help@xanga.net, we will get your site upgraded ASAP.

    Thanks,
    Eugenia at xanga.com
