  • @theshoresofdelmarva Am sorry to tell you this, but just like free and True members, the same goes for Lifetime members. Xanga has moved to a subscription fee only service. That means in order to continue blogging with Xanga you must pay a subscription fee. There is no more Lifetime.

However, archives are being provided for free. You can access yours by navigating to your dashboard (click your name in the top right corner). Once downloaded, you must extract the Zip file, and this will give you XML files which you can import.

If you dont wish to continue blogging with Xanga, there are many other bloghost providers that you can import your files to. Wordpress.com is the easiest as the XML is already formated for it. Once you make a new blog on Wordpress.com simply choose Tools>Import and select Wordpress. You can upload your blog from there. I cannot guarentee all your posts will be there, as some have had trouble. Other bloghosts can also probably import your archive, however keep in mind you may need a conversion tool or use a different method.

If you are unable to locate your archives in your Xanga dashboard, that indeed would be a different problem.. hope this helps.
