    Xanga already has a Twitter-like feature. It's called Pulse, and it works essentially the same as Twitter. Or at least I assume so, since I've personally never used Twitter before. However, the principle is the same.

    I believe the reason lilsweetjew's instructions didn't work is because it requires Javascript, which doesn't work with Xanga Themes for security reasons. However, the "Myspace" option should work because it just requires Flash: http://twitter.com/goodies/myspace

    I added twitter to my page before. I have never got failed before.

    Go to your twitter home page and go to settings. Go down to where it says "More Info URL" ... it should say on the left you can add twitter to your page. Click on that. follow the directions.

    And if you want to add the widget to your xanga. If you are using a theme, then go to "edit theme" when the options come up. Click add module. And then click on the custome module.

    You'll add the code into the box. move it around if you want.

    The directions on this were wonderfully clear (thank you lilsweetjew). But one question - I keep getting "failed" when I try to add Twitter as a custom module.

    Any thoughts?

    Failed? I have never seen that before?

    Maybe update java? or if your twitter is private/locked, you will need to unlock it/unprivate it.

    I copied and pasted the code from Twitter into my Xanga custom module but it said it didn't support that code. Then it wrote failed. Do you have any suggestions?

    I followed the instructions from lilsweetjew and also get "failed" when I try to add it.

    i'm using the old xanga settings. i tried inserting & when i click the "preview", nothing came out. not even failed message. any idea?
