I WANT TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT.
Seriously - there is NO delete account or shut down option. I want my account shut down. I'll be honest here and say that I stopped blogging BEFORE the change over. I only logged in from time to time just to check and see what the ruddy 2.0 would be like, assuming that I could then delete my account if I was dissatisfied with it.
So, in lieu of actually being provided an option to delete the thing myself, can someone on the staff just take this as my request to delete my account? Because honestly - since I am denied the ability to do it myself, someone should be able to do it for me.

You're not alone. Others of us are asking the exact same thing. I've asked 3 times in less than a week and have yet to hear anything back.

If its done through Paypal, terminate the service through your scheduled payments in PayPal. If done through Credit Card, then call them and block any future charges. Might be the most efficient way to get it done.

@godisinthewind - I have the "free" account. I did not donate, I did not have premium, I did not buy anything. I cannot block or stop payment on something I did not pay for. And seeing as I've not even got a blog anymore, there's nothing to actually pay money for. There simply is NOT an option for free users (or rather, those of us who have been FORCED into the commenting only account) to delete the account after the change over. Had i known that I would not be allowed to delete or deactivate the account after the change over, I would have done so before it happened.

Well, your site at http://kamikaze-zealot.xanga.com/ isnt activated and has no posts on it anyhow, so in most ways it is pretty much deleted, no real account.

@godisinthewind - true - but that's not why i want it deleted. i want it deleted because it is mine and i do not wish to use it anymore. just because i no longer have an active blog does not mean i can't request that an account which is attached to my personal e-mail be deleted.

I want all the blogs that they archived deleted as well. Who decided that was ok without telling anyone? Who will have access to that now?? I mean, really?

Anyone solve this issue yet? So we cant do shit on this site, cant even view our blogs for free, however they wont let you delete the account permanently? This is NOT ok. I no longer need use for this site, therefore you no longer need my info. PLEASE DELETE or SHUT DOWN THIS ACCT!!!!!!!
