ok, so in 2006 i created an account with the username 'casualages'... i have not updated the account for years, anyway, i decided i want to start blogging again but wanted a different username. on september 5 i created a new account with the username 'bigAges', after i created the account i was automatically logged into my old account but it tells me to choose a format so i assume it is for the new name. i choose the format i want and it actually applies the changes to my old account. i sign out of 'casualages' and try again to log into 'bigAges', the password works but again it logged me in as 'casualages'. even when i signed in as 'bigAges'. as i am logged in as 'casualages' i see under my name there is a link that you click if you are not the current user logged in, sothat you can log into your own account, when i click this link the page refreshes but it does not log me out of the old account. this doesn't really matter though, the main problem is that when i sign in as 'bigAges' i am logged in as 'casualages'. i actually deleted the old page thinking this is probably the problem, but still nothing has changed. on september 5 i submitted this problem to the xanga help team in a private message but have not recieved a response. currently i am logged into 'casualages' which i deleted (and if you try to visit my old page 'xanga.com/casualages' you will see it is deleted) and was also when i submitted the complaint last time so xanga may have replied to that username, the thing is, i can't check my messages because i deleted the account.

i am anxious to set up the new blog so hopefully someone knows what is wrong and can help me with this ASAP.

oh yeah, i did visit the site of the new name i created and it does exist, it is a brand new, untouched page that says it was created on september 5. so the account did get made.
