Not only did I have a personal xanga but I was one of those xanga Roleplayers. Anyone else who role played characters on xanga knows what I mean when I say how damn important my characters were to me. Losing all I wrote about them is like an author losing their books forever. Like it honestly feels like an important piece of my life is gone. I was on xanga from like 6th grade until about 2012. A lot happened in my life that year and I had NO idea xanga was shutting down because I hadn't had a chance to be on. By they time I checked back last year to read my old stuff and maybe start writing more again it was all gone with no way to get it back. I figured I'd give it a little time and maybe they'd have it a back up like promised but that never happened. It's now 2015 and I still have no way to read my old blogs of see my old sites I mean even those comments were important to me they told a story! And that's something I really would like to know how to get back. For some reason I just stupidly thought my memories would be at least be safe here on the Internet but I guess I was wrong. Also, being able to access blog archives if you can sign in does not help me. I had over 200 accounts, probably more and I only knew them all because they were all in a group together. Without access to the group so I know my usernames I can't get on any more than 2 of my accounts. I need to know how to get this back I really hope someone can give me an answer. Also, to my fellow xanga RPers - I feel for you all. Even the ones of you that I didn't get along with.
