The flagging system is designed to give users a quick way to report violations of our rules of member conduct. On the pages of every Xanga site, you should see a little "flag" link somewhere near the top of the page:
- it's in the top toolbar on sites that use the new "Xanga Themes" system
- it's near the top on the right side of sites that use the old "Look and Feel" system
- if for some reason you can't find the link, you can always submit your flag reports here: http://www.xanga.com/ReportContent.aspx
A few notes on the flagging system:
- The flags are just to identify and prioritize pages... action is taken only *after* human review
- There's also a built-in feedback mechanism, so that if you flag pages accurately (or not) your flags count for more (or less).
With these two measures in place, we should be able to minimize the impact of any pranks that people may try to play.
