How do I save my previous blog archives?
I'm a premium user, how do I save my previous blog archives in the new xanga?

I have downloaded it but there are only codes in it..... Do i need to download something else to read? I remember in the past, I can easily download htm version and read it freely... How can i do that now?

Once you have a copy of your blog posts on your own computer, you can do one of two things:
1. Upload your archives to another site that's compatible with your blog archives.
WordPress.com is one such free site... more information on how to import your archives into WP here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/
2. Upgrade your account to Xanga 2.0, and stay on Xanga.

Sorry... question again... Can I just download the archives and read them on my own computer?

@vinwky- We offered HTML archives before but the current version of the archives is now XML, which must be read via another blog platform like Wordpress.

I'm almost crying for the past over 1800 entries which recorded my daily lives from 2006. I wonder if you can help me on the html archives. I tried using xml but failed from time to time. I tries browsing wordpress but it looks very complicated to me.
