Deleting My Account
I didn't get the chance to delete my old free account before you made the upgrade (I know...I should have been paying attention) and I just want to get rid of it now. I don't have sentimental attachment to it anymore and I definitely CANNOT afford to pay for any of the new services with wordpress that you have joined with (If I am understanding that correctly). So how do I deactivate the account? Please let me know as soon as you can. Thank you!

John, subscribers have a true gripe here. If they had a blog which they could previously delete, were archived over without notification, and can not now delete their site--that could be a huge privacy issue with legal implications for Xanga.

I just came to Xanga to delete my accounts from years ago only to see there's no way to do so. That is pretty astonishing. Whatever you guys can do to delete my accounts would be greatly appreciated. I don't need any archives or anything of the such, complete removal is what I want. Thank you.

I had a premium "Lifetime Account" that I paid for. Apparently from what I have read, you now expect me to pay again yearly for this. Not happening!
Therefore, I respectfully request that you remove my account and all items (post, photos, etc) from your servers. I would also appreciate e-mail notification of this being done.

And I agree. It's very ridiculous that Xanga doesn't allow for users to delete their own account. This doesn't happen on other sites, which can cause legal problems for Xanga.
