On both themed and unthemed sites, you should be able to edit or delete your comments as follows:
- Editing Comments - you should be able to edit your comments for 15 minutes from the time you first submit them
- Deleting Comments - you should be able to delete your comments at any time after submitting them
If you are having trouble deleting a comment that you left somewhere on Xanga, then you might be signed in with the wrong account (please make sure you are signed in with the account that actually left the comment) or else you might've found a bug - d'oh (in which case, please post a link to the specific comment here - or if you don't want to share it publicly here, please use our contact forms to let us know which comment you are having trouble deleting: http://help.xanga.com/about/contact/)

You can edit comments for up to an hour after you leave them... but you can't delete comments you've left. You can only delete comments that have been left on your own Xanga site...

You can delete comments you've left on your *own* site... just not comments you've left on someone else's site!

...Thats strange, I erased a comment from 4 years ago the same day I posted this question...might there be an issue?

Was the comment you deleted on your own site... or on someone elses'?

u should delete the 'delete' button then on all my older comments. iz misleading if there a delete button for old posts but no can haz delete. (i think we should just be able to delete comments, n e wayz. i no understand why why i can't delete the stuff i wrote when drunk, for example.)

You can delete comments you made on someone else's weblog if they use a theme, but not the "look and feel" thing. The delete option just...isn't there on pages that don't use the newer theme system/thing. I gots no idea why, that's just what I've noticed.

....that makes sense in a way...but it doesn't. The option is there, I just don't see why the comment isn't able to become deleted.
