If you are new to xanga, you get a month long free trial of xanga premium which automatically removes those ads from your xanga. after your month long trial is over, the ads will appear. They are on every xanga user's page that does not have premium.
If you think they are annoying, you can save up credits to get premium or you can by premium in many different packages.

I wanted to delete mine too!
The only way to remove it is to upgrade to "Xanga Premium".. which is costly by points and money.. but otherwise, the advertisement will remain there if you don't upgrade.
Save up some points or just pay for the Xanga Premium for lifetime.. then you'll never have to bother with advertisements again. -
