    Can't upload a profile picture.

    I hope this is where I should be asking questions. I just started an account and I cannot seem to upload a profile picture. I don't want to work on a blog yet if I am not going to be able to upload photos so I'd like to get this straightened out. My jpeg files are listed and I select a photo but it just says "loading" for awhile and then defaults to the screen that says 'choose a profile picture.' Thanks.

    I hope to find an answer because I too can't upload a new profile picture. I want to add some pictures to the profile because I just got premium and so far it hasn't been working. Hope we get an answer soon.

    I,too, am a new user and i am having the exact same problem. Although i was able to upload 2 photos to
    the photo manager. But it will not let me move them anywhere (ie. profile pic) And i did have one
    checked to be my default pic. Now it just will not upload anything. Any ideas.

    Here is what you need to do:

    1. Go to http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

    2. On the homepage click on "Choose File" in the Resize Images box, find the image file you want to use as your profile pick and upload it.

    3. Select 100 Pixels under "Select New Maximum Image dimension"

    4. Don't check "Apply an image Special effect" unless you want your picture in Grayscale or Sepia.

    5. Choose the image quality you want then hit Resize and wait for it to resize your image.

    6. When it's done resizing download the image and then upload it as your profile pic on Xanga.

    The reason you have to resize your image is because Xanga has a rule that your profile pic can't be larger than 170 x 170 pixels and the file size can't be bigger than 1MB.

    it says t has succesfully uploades but i still dont see my picture on my profile or nowhere.. whats going with this???
