    Can't embed streaming video

    I tried to embed a streaming video from an online TV station, but it doesn't work. There is just a blank place where the video should be. I used the method given for embedding YouTube videos:
    "You can embed videos in your weblog entries - just make sure you're entering your code in HTML editing mode. Click on the "edit HTML" checkbox on the upper-right hand side of your entry, paste all the code YouTube gives you, and click on the checkbox again when you've finished to return to your entry."

    The same embed code did work when I embedded it into my WordPress blog, just won't work with Xanga. Any idea what might be wrong?
