Sign in and visit your public site:
http://kaorusong0915.xanga.com/
Then click:
Edit Theme (it's in the top toolbar) >> Remix Theme >> Background
You'll see a bunch of options for changing the background of your site.
To get the effect you mentioned, just put the URL of the image you want in the "Background Image" field. Then in the ">> Position" field, *check* the box for "fixed" position (that'll make your image scroll as you move the page up and down).

Thank you very much for your help! ^^
btw, if you dont mind me asking, how do I do the film roll effect? -
Having not seen your friends old theme, I'm not sure exactly how the effect looked. But it sounds like it was likely just a background image with some filmstrips on it. If you add a background image like that one, you should end up with a similar effect

i probably need to elaborate more about the background if i want someone to comprehend what it was like...sry to be so blunt in manner ^^;;;
is there a way to add two different backgrounds? one fixed and in the back while the other comes out on the front without being fixed?

Ah ok - sure thing... Here's how to do it:
1) Add the fixed image to your site "Background" as described above:
* go to: Edit Theme >> Remix Theme >> Background
* input your background image and be sure to set ">> position" to "fixed"
2) Add another image to the "Page" layer that sits right on top of your "Background" layer:
* go to: Edit Theme >> Remix Theme >> *Page* >> Background
* input the image you want as the background of your "Page" layer
