Every time I try to signin, Xanga asks me for a security code. What's going on?


Sorry about that!  That code shouldn't appear for longer than an hour or so, and then it should stop happening.

Here's how it works: if a hacker signs in incorrectly 5x in a row, then we ask them to type in a security code. This way, we know they're not an automated computer trying to guess your password!  What's happening here is that, somebody has tried to sign into your account five times within the last hour. 

That person could be you or it could be another person - either way, we decided to play it safe.  So just to keep your account secure in the meantime, we ask for that extra security code.  This way, your account is *much* safer!  It is definitely an inconvenience :-(, but hopefully the added security on your account makes this worthwhile!
