I put some bad HTML or JavaScript into an old post, and now I can't delete it?!
If you post an entry with "bad" HTML or JavaScript, this can prevent your page from loading properly.
Fear not! You can delete a recent entry with bad HTML or JavaScript using Xanga's "safe mode" option:
http://edit.xanga.com/safemode.aspx
Here's what you do:
-
Log into your Xanga site
-
-
Find the entry you want to delete in the section titled "Your Last 5 Posts". Typically, an entry with bad HTML or JavaScript is much longer than your other posts, and is densely packed with codes.
-
Look to the left of your code and click on the appropriate DELETE IT link -- or click the EDIT IT link if you want to modify the entry to clean up your code.
