Thanks for your help and prompt response. I switched to Wordpress but still taking just as long. Could but the connection, although I have five bars. I've gotten the email that it was imported but it still says it's processing. I will contact Wordpress.

I remember having some problems with Blogger in importing (another reason why I chose Wordpress) when I looked for another bloghost. Stil, that's most unusual why its taking so long. The test ran this morning only took a few minutes time to upload.. hmm.. perhaps its something to do with the connection or the Mac.

Mine are actually larger- smallest is 162 KB, largest is over 500. That might be because some entries have images with them.

P.S. using wordpress, my .xml files took 18 minutes each to upload (I had 20 of them). It only took me 2 evenings of intermittently uploading to get my entire Xanga onto Wordpress.

@lawstfouryou, I'm not sure how else to view them except in their crazy computer code language.

It seems like either Blogger or your internet connection is really slow.

If you end up using Wordpress instead, go Dashboard > Tools > Import. Then choose Wordpress. Xanga isn't listed as an explicit option, but Xanga 2.0 uses Wordpress technology, so that's why it works. From there, just select the .xml file to be uploaded, and you're good.

Is there any other way to view our files? I've literally spent all day waiting to import mine onto blogger and it's just one file out of 17. It's been 12 hours.

Hi everyone, just an update: I DID get the Wordpress to work! I had to upload each individually, like @a_b0t. @Cagey, thanks so much for your willingness to help too. Maybe the multiple files just show up on a Mac, who knows.

At any rate, to all reading this thread: multiple .xml files DO upload just fine to Wordpress!
