1) OPEN YOUR WEBLOG EDITOR

Click the "New Weblog Entry" link on your private Xanga Site:

http://www.xanga.com/private/home.aspx

Your Weblog Editor should pop up, as usual.

2) SELECT PROTECTED STATUS

Near the bottom of your Weblog Editor, you'll see the usual options for making the post Public or Private. And you should now see a third option: protected.

Status:

public private protected

Go ahead and select the "protected" Status option

3) CLICK THE "SUBMIT" BUTTON

When you're done writing your post, hit submit. Your post should be submitted as a Protected Post.
