Xanga limits image files to :

• JPGs Images (e.g. with a name such as "photo.jpg") must be 4 MB or smaller. Xanga allows larger JPG images to be uploaded, but larger JPG photos may be compressed.
• Other Image types (e.g. with a name such as "photo.gif" or "photo.png") must be 100 KB or smaller. Although Xanga allows JPGs to be larger, non-JPG images tend to not be compressed. In some cases, uploading a 100 KB GIF image may result in a sharper image than a 3 MB JPG image.
