There are several reasons why a code you put into your Look and Feel would not work. Make sure you got ALL of the code inserted correctly.  Best thing to do is go back to the webpage your got the code from, and copy the code again carefully, and repaste it in.  Every "<" and letter is important!

Another reason why the code may not work is because it is possible that the counter violates our Javascript policy:

There is a lot of malicious code out there, and in order to protect Xanga from attacks, we disallow some javascripts that would allow hackers to attack.
