I can't seem to subscribe to a site... what's going on?!
There are several reasons why you may not be able to subscribe to a site.
Usually you may not be able to subscribe to a friend's site because of a bad link, or often times it’s a special code your friend is using which interferes with the pop-up window.
One way you can get around this issue is to use a direct link to their subscription link. Here is the direct web address to subscribing to someone's site:
http://www.xanga.com/Private/SubscribeTo.aspx?user=USERNAME (change USERNAME to the xanga name you want to subscribe to.)
Just open that in a new window, and you should be able to subscribe to them.
If that doesn't work and you're signed in and just can't subscribe to a site... there's a chance that the user has blocked you.
When someone blocks you, you can no longer leave comments on their site *or* subscribe to them.
