Why can't people subscribe to me?
It sounds like you're using a special code for your page to make it look the way it does now. That added code is what is causing your problem. The best thing to do is take out all your code (make a backup copy of it) and then add ONE code in at a time and see which one is causing the problem.
Also, make sure the referring link is correct: http://www.xanga.com/Private/SubscribeTo.aspx?user=USERNAME (except change USERNAME to your Xanga name). Some users just add that link directly to their site as a possible solution.
Or you can remove the special code that changes the look of your site entirely and edit your Look and Feel (http://www.xanga.com/CLAF) instead using the default look.
