How can I edit or delete an entry when it doesn't have a EDIT link?


As you can probably see, there's some code interfering with your entry.  But there are ways to get around that.

You can edit or delete your last five entries using Safemode - please see:

If it is an older entry, you need to first find the Unique ID (UID) for that entry.  Every entry has its own UID.  Here's what you need to do:

  1. Go to the page where the problem entry is.
  2. Click View in your web browser menu, then SOURCE.
  3. Find the entry in all that code (Tip: use the FIND command in the EDIT menu of your web browser, and search for keywords you used in your entry).
  4. Once you've found the entry, look for the closest UID number in the code.  You should see a long web address with a "uid=" at the end - that's the Unique ID.
  5. Insert that UID into the following addres (replace INSERTNUMBERHERE with your UID number):

You should now have the direct link to edit or delete the entry!
