I put the background image in my look and feel settings, and it's not showing up... what gives?
There are several reasons this could be happening:
- First, are you sure there isn't a typo somewhere? Copy-and-paste your link to your background image into another browser to make sure that your URL is correct.
- Next, make sure you've uploaded your image to an online server somewhere! You can't use a background that is stored on your local hard drive for your Xanga background, or for any web site. You need to upload your image to a server, or link to an image that has already been uploaded to a server.
- If you're sure your background image has been properly uploaded to a server, it's possible that the background image has been "remotely blocked" or it's hit certain bandwidth restrictions. You can read more about that in this FAQ:
