This means that your Internet Explorer browser is "caching" the pictures you upload too aggressively.

In other words, it's storing the copy of your old picture and assuming that all the new pictures you upload look just like it!  But never fear - you can quickly and easily change your browser to be more well-behaved. 

Here's what you need to do:

• Open Internet Explorer
• Click on TOOLS
• OPTIONS
• Under the first GENERAL TAB
• Under TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES
• Click on SETTINGS
• Click the radio button for EVERY VISIT TO THE PAGE
• Click OK
• Log into Xanga and try it again.
