Go to your private site, and click on the link that says "Public Profile"
Then if you click on the link that says "Profile Pics", you should end up here:
Now you're ready to start uploading! Click on the "Upload Profile Pics", in the left module:
Click on Browse, and select the image you'd like to upload. When you've found the image you want to upload, click "Open" and the image should be selected. Now click on "Upload Picture" on the bottom of the page... and your image should upload!
Please note that Classic users are allowed 3 pictures, while Premium users have up to 99 profile pics.
After you upload multiple pictures, choose the picture you want to show up on your mainpage, blogrings, user search - make that picture the Default picture.
To set your default picture - go to this page:
http://www.xanga.com/private/profilepics.aspx and next to the picture you want to be your Main picture - make sure Default Pic is set to "YES."
To insert your other profile pictures for the individual entry page - when you make a new weblog entry, click Choose under Extras in your xtools new weblog window. A pop up should appear with all the profile pics you uploaded - just click on the one you want to show up, and that's it.
Also note that the pic you choose in xtools appears on the *individual entry page* for that entry (if you have comments enabled, it's the page where people can leave comments).
Two things to keep in mind:
1) If you're uploading an *identical copy* of an image you've already uploaded, it will *replace* the older copy rather than appear as a separate pic. Please see:
