Adding a picture to your Banner is a three-step process:

1. First, make sure that your picture is uploaded to a website
2. Get the address of your image on the web
3. Then, add a code linking to your image to your Look and Feel (in the Header section)

We'll walk through each step separately:

1. First, make sure that your picture is uploaded to a website

First, you need to find a picture that you want to use as your header.

If you have Xanga Premium, you probably want to upload the picture to your Xanga site:

If you don't have Xanga Premium, you can either :

1. Find a picture already online...  and then get permission to link to it.
2. Find a free image webhost and upload your picture to that site

2. Get the address of your image on the web

No matter how you get your picture online, you'll want to get the address of the picture on the web.  For example, the Xanga logo is located at:

• http://www.xanga.com/images/xangalogo.gif

3. Then, add a code linking to your image to your Look and Feel (in the Header section)

Finally, please go to the Header section of your Look and Feel:

• http://www.xanga.com/CLAF/default.asp#header

See the big field labeled "Input your Own HTML"?

Stick in the link to the picture file, like this:

Now just click on "Save Changes", and your picture header should appear!
